The Braille Authority of North America (BANA), which convenes in-person semiannually, will hold its spring 2019 meeting May 2-4 and will be hosted by CNIB (The Canadian National Institute for the Blind), a BANA member organization. On Thursday, May 2, the meeting site will be at CNIB National Centre, 1929 Bayview Avenue, Toronto, Sir Arthur Pearson Board Room, Room 220 second floor. On Friday, May 3, and Saturday, May 4, the meeting site will be at Novotel Toronto North York, 3 Park Home Avenue, Toronto, ON, Stage Door, off the lobby.

Items on the Board's agenda will include a review of formal reports from BANA's technical committees such as music, Nemeth, and tactile graphics, as well as its general committees and task forces, such as the BANA General Committee on UEB and the Publications Committee. BANA will take action on recommendations when appropriate.
