File Formats Found on the BANA Website

Many documents on this website are available in several file formats for viewing and downloading.

These include:

• PDF (Portable Document Format).
  This format preserves the original appearance. Use a PDF viewer, such as Adobe Reader 8 for Windows XP to read the files. PDF files vary in accessibility so some readers may wish to choose other options.
  
  
• HTM (Hypertext Markup Language).
  These files are similar in content to their PDF counterparts but may not retain the same format. They are typically read in a web browser such as Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, etc. This format may be more accessible for some users.
  
  
• BRF (Braille Ready Format)
  These braille files are transcriptions of their PDF counterparts. Unless stated otherwise, all files use a page size of 25 lines by 40 cells.
  
  
• ZIP
  A zipped file is a collection of one or more compressed files. Unzip the file in order to gain access to each individual file.
